How to build an engaged audience on Instagram?

How to build an engaged audience on Instagram?

My clients come to me because they struggle a lot when it comes to building their audience. The truth is, it’s not that complicated and here’s why.

People think that to build an audience you need A LOT of followers since, according to them, that’s the only way they will be able to sell their services.

What no one gets is that, even if you only have 100 followers, if they pay for your services and refer you to their friends and family, you will have revenue!

But how do you build that audience in the first place? Here are 3 things you need

Understand who is your dream client

If you don’t know anything about them, how are you going to create content, offer your services and even talk to them?

The most important thing you need to learn about your audience is what they struggle with the most. That pain point of theirs is where you want to focus your services.

How can I find out what are my client’s fears and struggles?

There are many ways you can do that, but my favourite one is simply asking questions!

Go to your Instagram stories and ask your followers what they struggle with! Use stickers, polls, question stickers, etc. Make it engaging and fun for them!

Here’s a list of pain points you can use.

Create a well-defined content calendar

I always tell my clients that “it’s not just a post”, meaning you need to have a strategy behind everything you upload on your social media.

If you want to learn how to create a content calendar that actually works, click here! I’m offering a Content Calendar Consultation where you will learn everything you need to know to create posts that your audience will actually engage with. Besides receiving my Notion template of course!

Engage with your community

How do you expect people to like, comment, and share your content if you don’t do that yourself?

Spend a few minutes a day engaging with accounts you might think would be a good fit for you and your services. I would say 15 minutes per day is enough 🙂

I hope those tips helped you! DM me on Instagram to let me know if you liked it!
